WHAT ARE ENVIRONMENTAL TOXINS?

Our modern environment is filled with things that are potentially harmful to health. These include such Toxins as petroleum based products, pesticides, and all sorts of building materials and modern furnishings. Paints, stains, flooring, carpets and upholstery can give off Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs). The electronics and wiring in our buildings can radiate Electro-Magnetic Fields (EMFs), which disrupt the natural function of our cellular structure. Sometimes mold or other organics can cause health problems. In our work, Interior Eyes always looks for these as potential causes of health problems, and works to reduce them to create a more healthful, restful environment. For EMF problems with a buildings wiring, I will create a report that you can present to an approved Environmental Electrician. These technicians specialize in wiring problems, such as grounding, current in the plumbing, or reversed neutral polarity, and can specifically solve such problems caused by cost-cutting in construction, remodeling or DIY repairs. I also can make suggestions for environmentally sound furnishings or building materials. In general, the more processing used to create an object or substance, the more potential harm to both ourselves, and the environment.
